Night manager Jayme helped us out when hair dryer wasnt working properly in our room. We only stayed 1 night so we didnt bring a hair dryer. When you have 3 women in your family its a must:) Everything else perfect for our stay.
Best price great room
RUDE STAFF. RUNDOWN PROPERTY. Front desk guy is completely unprofessional and argued with us. We had problems with the reservation but he said the manager is always home and no one can help. They don’t care about customers. He actually told me! Unbelievable.
Due to the pandemic we understand no breakfast but you should state that when we make our reservations. and provide an alternative. overall hotel was good. Front desk was very helpful when we were checking in.Location is in prime area for all attractions and restaurants. easy on and off the highway.
Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Chain lock was broken on main door but everything else was great.
No elevator to carry heavy bags up and down the steps, the hallways were stagnant, stale, and very hot and humid. The hotel door wasn't secured as it stated. They offered no breakfast options even though breakfast was supposed to be included with our stay and they didn't tell us until we asked the morning of our stay. The manager wasn't willing to help us with a double booking that his employee did the night before when his employee advised they would be able to fix it the next morning. Very uncomfortable beds, black mold and bugs in bathroom.
backup at the only waffle maker in the am.i only had one as 6 more people came in and they all made them. 6 at 3 mins each is 20 mins of lost time
This hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. Great location if planing to spend time in Galena or go to the casino in Dubuque. Price was affordable. We stayed in the winter and the heater was so loud that it was hard to sleep.
Very friendly stuff ! Clean rooms, good breakfast.
Terrible experience. Awoken by a guy pounding on my door at 2am claiming that he was supposed to be in my room. He claimed he was pert of the Bernie Sanders campaign. Somehow he knew my name and room number. He argued with me through the door shouting obscenities at me. He left and returned with the desk clerk. They tried to get into my room. I told them i did not know this guy and they must leave or i would call the police. I'm thinking this could be a robbery. Using the campaign angle as a ruse. I just didn't know. They finally left. I called the desk. He said he gave the guy a different room. I asked the clerk how he got my name and room number. He said he probably got it from the booking site. I told him that wasn't possible since the booking site couldn't possibly have the room number. I think the clerk gave it to him because the guy convinced him he was supposed be in a room paid for by the campaign. I called the police and the desk clerk wouldn't stay to talk to them. The assistant manager said the manage wouldn't be available for me to talk to until Monday. This was Sunday. They reimbursed me for my room and said sorry for the inconvenience. Inconvenience? They failed to understand the magnitude of what took place. We felt threatened. We felt our security was compromised. I didn't know if we were getting robbed or if my credit card # was also released. I I sent a complaint to Wyndham but they have not responded to my request to speak to someone.
