Better than I expected
It was much nicer inside than outside. Bed was really comfortable. We went there when the weather was really cold which may have caused ants in the bathroom? That was the only real issue we had. At the time of booking we were offered free parking online but when we got there they were charging us $35/day. I informed them of the deal and they honored it. After checking out the next day I asked if we could keep the car there while we grabbed lunch and they let us. Very nice. Saved us having have to park. We walked to Chinatown which took about 20 minutes to grab lunch.

Clean vs Dirty
Janet is an absolute asset! She was extremely helpful. We wanted to be at the wharf and this was a perfect location. It’s a very old hotel and it needs a lot of work! Old is one thing... dirty is a whole different story. There is rust on the glass in the bathroom window that could easily be taken off with a straight razor. The walls are paper thin and the couple next door to us faught all night long slamming doors and screaming into the wee hours so despite the amazing and surprisingly comfortable beds we still didn’t sleep. The rooms for over $300 per night were disappointing at the price. We did manage to have a wonderful time tho due to your excellent staff!
