I stayed here in May & didn't even consider looking for a different hotel when returning in November. The location is prime! Right across the street from Fisherman's Wharf. But what really brings me back time and time again is that they will let me park my car well before and after check in/out for no extra charge! We arrived at 11:30a for a 3p check in, parked the car and took off until evening. The next morning we checked out but didn't come back for our car until 2p. Not having to worry about parking in the city is priceless to me! The renovated rooms are very nice & clean and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Paper thin walls and loud all night
I could literally hear the full conversation of our neighbors and there was loud banging (construction type noise) all night. Had to keep tv on all night to drown out the noise of everything. Not good

Poor 2.0
Under construction
The hotel was in the middle of a remodel which I am totally fine with. The room next door had people working In it and they were respectful when we walked by. We are not very picky or bothered by much. The room smelled horrible because of paint fumes. We went to eat dinner so we didn’t have to smell it the whole time. When we came back, workers were gone but the smell was still so strong. The walls were paper thin so you could hear everything outside and hear other people walk by as if there was no barrier. When we crawled into bed there were hairs so I knew the sheets weren’t clean which isn’t acceptable and I didn’t like my kids sleeping in them. We slept on top of the sheets instead. The next morning the power was out so we couldn’t relax or let the kids just watch tv. We decided to just get out of there and the front desk employee could have cared less about the inconvenience. Not even a sorry. Very disappointing for our first trip to San Francisco.

Expensive, tired looking rooms with no air con
Pros: Good location on Fisherman's Wharf Cons: Very expensive for a hotel that has no working air conditioning and insufficient venting windows - it was stifling at the end of September and I had to have my door open onto the outdoor corridor. The hotel rooms are rather tired looking, with very few electric sockets, and those that there are are awkward/inconvenient to reach. Although the room has a kettle (though nowhere convenient to plug it in), no tea or coffee is provided, and guests must venture into the outdoor corridor and down to reception to pick up a cup of coffee. When I am paying over $350 per night for a room, I expect a few sachets of coffee at the very least.

Perfect location for Fisherman’s Wharf
Looking a little tired although work ongoing to improve rooms. They appeared to be dealing with a water leak on our landing while we were there
