in the last month I have stayed at 3 different tru hotels in three different states(Louisville Kentucky, Shoronville Ohio, and Triy michigan) the first two were amazing, clean, great staff, and no issues. The troy michigan one was not so great. the floors were dirty to the point my daughters feet were almost black with dirt. the toilet lid was broken or not screwed on properly, and there was only one shade over the window that still allowes the parking lot lights to light up the room after dark.
Staff was ok but really didnt care about the joy of the guests. we went down to the pool to relax and take my 2 year old swimming. no towels were available to dry off, all the towels that were there were in soaking wet heaps all over the furniture causing them to wet. at one point a mother came in with seven unruly kids, screaming , running, jumping in the pool doing cannonballs. the mother quietly sat on her phone, didnt do a thing and then after a few minutes left her kids unattended, all of this was happening as an employee finally came in to place about 5 new towels. as the kids were running and diving and jumping in the pool he did nothing to rectify the actions of these kids. i paid the same as everyone else and followed the rules to show my daughter to be respectful, why do we have leave because of the actions of others and a staff that cant not enforce hotel rules
