Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

It’s very much a family resort. The food is terrible, but the staff is kind.

Best all inclusive we’ve been to! Food and drinks were great! Service is top notch and there are so many things to do around the resort for adults and kids. Will definitely be back and bringing the kids with us next time!

This vacation far exceeded our expectations! We have never stayed at a resort, we’ve only done cruises. We were blown away with the friendliness of the staff. The resort itself was so clean and easy to get around. There was never a shortage of food but if I could change one thing about the food, I wish they would offer more snack options. I would have loved pretzels or chips or popcorn, something like that. The breakfast buffet was delicious, the dinner buffet was mediocre. I wish we would have realized sooner in our trip that the restaurants that required reservations had exceptional food! The lagoon was gorgeous and safe but my husband was hoping to be able to snorkel in the actual ocean. There is no access to the open ocean at the resort. When we first arrived, we were approached by at least 3 staff all at once. One wanted us to make our dinner reservations, one wanted to sell us a time share and one actually was there to help us check in. After a full day of travel and wanting to just get to our room and hit the pool, it was a little overwhelming. We ignored the time share guy and then he called us, twice, the next morning and woke us up. I wasn’t too thrilled about that. Other than that, zero complaints! If you can, try to rent a cabana for the day. The Cabana boys were outstanding. Although it’s an all inclusive and “gratuities are included”, we did tip here and there for the wait staff that brought our drinks, the waiters at dinner and our cabana boys.

this place is so over-priced, rooms, pools, food is not what I expected for $300 USD per night. There are so many more luxurious hotels for half the price

It was all a big mess and no one did what they said to help out. And when I finally got my room. When bell service took us to the door and I open it with my electric key. To our surprise, there were people in thy room. Just really bad service

The resort was really great. A little dated, but once you get past that everything else is superb. The staff are super friendly and the service is excellent. The food we had in every restaurant was fantastic, could not fault it. The room service food leaves a bit to be desired but we only had it once as the restaurants were so good! Pool, beach, water park all excellent as were the other amenities with loads to do for kids. The only negative I will offer up is the "sales pitch" that they will try to give to you. They will dress it up as breakfast and a chat with no obligation, but I will call it what it is, Pressure selling trying to get you to buy future vacations at hard rock resorts. It was 90 minutes of our time but we got a big discount at Xcaret so I guess it was worth it. Other than that I could not recommend this resort more! My family and I had a brilliant time!

Had a awesome time For my romantic dinner the rain had put a damper on it being in the beach but they made arrangments for it to be in a wine cellar.

Im can't walk and the receptionist give me a building 9 and 3 floor and all wedding guest were in the building 1 to 5 I was the only guest that were so far I very disappointed.

This property is perfect for all vacationers! The grounds are beautiful, the beaches are clean, water is gorgeous, and the facilities are amazing ! Bartenders are fantastic and the food is also great! The Balinese beds are totally worth the rent - Alex Mareno Ezekiel and Sophia provided us with the best service! Antonio does an amazing job at the romantic dinners - we had him two years in a row and he loves his job! The people Make the experience here so wonderful.
