    Stay Away

    We have stayed at this hotel a few times before, and this stay was definitely our last. There were amenities missing in the room like the ice bucket. The smell inside the room was terrible. The bathroom sink didn't drain. There was a stain on the carpet and hair all over the bathroom floor. I am not sure what has happened for this hotel to go so down hill, but I was very disappointed.

    Although this is a non-smoking property, our room's bathroom smelled of smoke, and there were cigarette burns in the carpet and blanket. They replaced all our towels but the smell persisted and we ran the bathroom fan all night. I think they may have given us a room that was formerly a smoking room and did not renovate it for the new policy. All else was OK. Management said they would have offerred a discount but we were prepaid!

    Basic room, ok for a night. Room was clean enough but run down. Front desk staff during check in wasn't rude but not pleasant either. The front desk staff at checkout was friendlier. Due to Covid, there was only 1 family allowed in the pool at a time. Had to book it for 1 hour, so was nice to have the pool alone but would have been disappointing for our kids if we couldn't get to swim. This was the whole reason that we booked this hotel. Pool was smaller but nice and warm. Hotel is right neside Tim Hortons which was a bonus.
