    Leave your dogs at home.

Walls are super thin. Barking dogs all night. Cool hotel but terrible sleep.

A rare hotel catering to provide rare experiences.

The hotel, which opened its doors in 1929, is a gem. Updated and modern where it counts, as in the rooms, beds and cleanliness, the lobby and the service; yet, a classic throw-back to times gone by, when staying at a truly grand hotel was a grand experience.

    Great amenities, need better parking

This is a very old establishment that have way better amenities than modern hotels. The suite I had was massive with a California king bed (very rare) and a separate parkour with a sofa and tv. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator. Small touches like having makeup wipes available for people like me that wear makeup was very thoughtful. Their breakfast was also very good. The only con I had was that they should have designated parking for their guests. Having to locate a parking spot on a Friday night on the street for over 30 minutes is a complete turnoff. Having to carry your luggage more than 1 city block is not preferred for a traveler like me.

    Great Old Historic Hotel

Would not recommend the one single queen room. Was way too small. Sink in sleeping area and no room to move around. Shower and toilet area smaller than cruise ship bathroom. My mistake for picking this but love the hotel and have stayed many times

    Great historic hotel

We enjoyed our second stay in this historic hotel. It is full of old fashioned character including an elevator operator. Location is great with a short walk to the historic town square. They were great about storing our bikes. Staff were all very nice and friendly.
