The water park is great. The room rate is way overpriced for the condition of a dolled up motel. Its ok, but they know they have you with that water park

Quiet and very very clean room
I was sick with the flu- just flew in from Ca., was exhausted, got take out from Hearth and Kettle, our room was on first floor, away from noisy pool, bar, and busy street, tons of parking spaces so we got space right by room, would stay here again if need be- We usually stay at my sweet mother in law's but I was scared to get her sick as she is 94, as my brother in law put it" it would be a death sentence for her...and they all would blame me.

Disappointed, easily fixable cleanliness! Come on!
Well, right when we checked in, the room felt stuffy so we opened the sliding doors that lead out to the parking lot. It was wonderful relief to feel the fresh air come in except that it was filled with the stench of vomit. Turns out there was massive piles of vomit on patio-type the sitting area outside our sliding doors. However, my husband convinced me that we did not have to change rooms and a hotel employee came quickly to clean it up. This severely changed my outlook on fresh fall air. I lived with the stuffiness. Also, on the same day as check in, we ordered room service for lunch at the Hearth and Kettle around 1:00pm. This was good and when we were done we placed the tray and all our remains outside of our room. Later, after exploring the water park, we saw that our tray had been removed from outside our door and moved over about 10 feet away to a small coffee table that was part of a sitting area in front of vending machines and ice. This area was right along our primary hall passageway that lead us to all other parts of the hotel, water park, restaurants and such. The food was still there that night before we retired for bed, then still there the next morning, then STILL there the 2nd night when we were going to bed. I watched my son's mac n cheese congeal and the dressing from the salad I had, began to smell strongly each time we passed. it was finally removed the 2nd morning shortly before we checked out at 10am.
