No respect for privacy!
I stood this weekend for an overnight for my boyfriends birthday. It is a kid friendly spot which wasn’t a big issue but would have definitely preferred something more adult geared. The big issues were the FOUR occasions between check in and out where housekeeping would knock on our door and after we told them please wait or don’t enter they let themselves in! Every single time! The first time was 10 minutes after check in, the next 3 were the following morning between 10-11 am when check out isn’t until 11. I understand they need to get in to clean as this is a large resort but they need a better system for what rooms are free and the absolutely have no respect for privacy! I informed them upon checkout and it was like no one seemed to care that someone kept intruding our space! It was extremely frustrating. Nevermind the fact that our room safe was broken and we had maintenance replace the door with a new one, so luckily that was taken care of. Also the showers that evening had zero temp regulation and was colder than the pool we were in outdoor that afternoon! Overall average for kids, terrible for adults. You pay for what you get. I never ever complain about my stays but this one did it, we will not be returning.

The staff was very friendly. My 3 and 7 year old loved the water park. Hearth and Kettle restaurant on site the food was excellent - dinner and lunch the following morning. I was disappointed that the Cafe in water park was closed - not sure if this was a seasonal thing. Would definitely go back!

Always a great stay!!!
Overall great hotel and the hearth & kettle is the best. Would be nice if they had adult only pool hours at night for like 2 hrs. If they did 18+ from like 9pm-11pm that would be greatly appreciated.

Exceptional 10.0
Great for families
We had a great stay. I have a 2 and 3 yr old and the water park was perfect for their age. Check in was easy and room was ready earlier. We enjoyed the water park for a couple hrs and then went to dinner in the hotel at hearth and kettle. The food was good and they had a good variety to choose. Our room was update but I don't like the bed. Everyone else slept amazing except me. Also we were on building 400s on second floor. I had a stroller and there was no elevator so I had to drag a carriage up and down a large set of stairs.
