There's a lot to like about the Kennedy Nova. It's conveniently located in Sliema, surrounded by many wonderful restaurants. It's located directly across the road from the sea, so the view is stellar. It's just a short walk to the Sliema-Valletta ferry for your eventual trip there. The room we had was comfortable, though not overly large. Unexpectedly, there was a breakfast buffet that was well-appointed and quite tasty. The staff was quite friendly and allowed us to securely store our luggage before we could officially check in, but also in the period after we had checked out but weren't ready to go to the airport. Pickups for ridesharing or taxis are easy, and there's a bus stop nearby as well. The only mild complaints were that the air conditioner in the room struggled a bit to keep things cool and while the water pressure in the shower was adequate, it wasn't great. Those things are definitely not enough to overwhelm a wonderful stay.

So when I booked a balcony room I wasn't figuring on a Juliet balcony looking across to other rooms. The room was clean, bed okay and shower was fine. Breakfast was fine and plenty of items to choose from including hot and cold food. Glad I only booked for a night before flight home though.

Was to much noise, couldn't sleep properly for 3 nights. Guest running around at the corridior, slamming the door, talking loud at 2am. Had to complain 4 times. Not happy, with the management, they should make sure silence after 10pm

Worse hotel stay ever!
It started off badly from the second we opened the door to our room. The room absolutely stank of cigarettes and smoke. It was overpowering. We had to keep the door open for hours as so bad and it never went away. We booked a seaview room and paid more for this. The view was nice, road busy but expected that. There was no tea /coffee making facilities in the room which was disappointing. I used the bathroom and the tap on bath was very wobbly and the floor was covered in hairs. The dust behind the TV was thick. Only two pillows in bed. Both so flat, was like sleeping without. There was no duvet on bed, just a sheet. There was a blanket in wardrobe, but this was covered in both numerous human dog hairs, so we could not use that, so had to sleep with just a sheet. Well I use sleep loosely. We were kept awake all night by the students staying in the hotel running and screaming up and down the stairs and having a party in the room next door all night and I mean all night. There was an interconnecting door to our room and at some point in the night students came into our room!! We had come to the hotel for the night from Gozo where we live, as I had an operation at 0730 the next day so wanted to relax and get a good nights sleep, but this was impossible. My husband went for breakfast after dropping me off at hospital. He said was like a school canteen with all the students. So loud and noisy and running around. We ran a bnb for many years and was shocked staying here.
