Walls extremely thin. Could hear tv and all conversations for both rooms. Property is great and service is excellent

" Extra firm mattresses "
I have stayed at this hotel many times and every time I've been satisfied with their service. There is one gripe I have with this hotel however. They have very firm mattresses in their rooms, and they don't pad them. Which I find confusing because they have the most exquisite pillows. Your head and neck will be in heaven, but, your back will be in hell. If they upgraded their mattresses or added significant padding to them I would never use another hotel. Because of this factor I will start using other hotels when visiting Tucson.

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday and we absolutely love it! We got the spa king room and it was great. Out favorite part of the trip the restaurant, it’s amazing!

The hotel was extremely nice and clean. The only issue we had was with the restaurant, my husband found a small hair in his fruit dish that was given for complimentary breakfast. Another thing was that the cup was smudged, it didn't look very clean. Maybe just keep an eye out on the cleanliness of the restaurant. But aside from those minor details, the property is beautiful and the rooms were beautiful

A flavor of the old west
Love this place. Good location in Tucson near Reid park. This lodge has a real southwest flavor to the buildings. Charming casitas let you imagine desert living with all of todays com forts. Love the restaurant bar food menu. Salt water pool is heated so we enjoyed a winter afternoon in the water. Just relaxing and private.

Stayed at Lodge on the Desert before. Was pretty good the first time but much better this time. Room was clean and very nice. Service was great and food was good.

I would not hesitate to recommend this place. I was nervous to book as it was not a known chain. Not disappointed! Excellent free breakfast, wonderful staff and nice grounds.

Great Central Tucson location
Beautiful property centrally located. Staff was friendly and attentive. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The restaurant has great outdoor patio seating with fireplace, and fixed our drinks and appetizers to go for poolside. We would stay again and recommend it highly.
