ANOTHER ENJOYABLE VISIT
ONLY ONE-NIGHT STAY FOR NEW YEARS EVE EVENT CLOSE BY. HAVE STAYED HERE SEVERAL TIMES IN THE PAST FOR BUSINESS MEETINGS...ALWAYS A PLEASANT EXPERIEANCE. PARKING (OTHER THAN VALET PARKING) IS INCONVENIENT.

Hotel is a money pit
The hotel overcharged for everything, even while offering zero cleaning services due to COVID. $30 early check in fee even while the hotel was virtually empty. $11 beers ($1 per oz). $31 per day transient fee. They were jackhammering on a room improvement for about 45 minutes mid day nap time. The beds were super uncomfortable with minima covers. Bathroom door scraped the toilet when you opened it. Back to overcharging... we visited the bar when it was virtually empty at dinner time. The bartender had the check with the boss to see if they could give us plastic silverware for fee... while a dish tub full of freshly rolled silverware sat right in front of me. There was ONE couple in the bar at that time. The hotel was where my wife and I met and it was a sentimental trip, but its the last time we’ll ever stay there.

The rooms are spacious - that is the only positive thing I can review. The photos are deceiving - this hotel is old. There was limited restaurant, spa, bar service and if you book with Expedia they put you in the worst rooms of the resort. Then they try to charge you a resort fee but nothing is open.

We just spent five days at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch. We stayed in the Presidential Suite which was nice and spacious for our family of four. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We went to the pool once and practically had it to ourselves. Lovely stay!

We noticed the floor in our restroom had stains on it and the room was mediocre for the price. No room service was available nor was the front desk responsive. Linens on bed were uncomfortable and the water when taking a shower was never hot. It was a disappointing stay.
