Seven Mile Beach Resort & Club

Very Nice pool. On-site restaurant and/or bar would be nice. Appears there is some long term construction on-going - took away from the experience.

Area of the property was great. It was clean and enjoyable.

Great for families, close to restaurants, fully equipped kitchen, bath and beach towels.

Pros: Central location on ocean side of Seven Mile Beach, Great pool area, condo was large and well maintained, staff was quick to respond to needs. The price is extremely reasonable. Cons: Although the brick path to the beach is close, the actual steps into the water is NOT accessible. The beach has washed away at the end of the path. The beach that the condo has reserved is too far to walk to, the chairs/facilities can only be used when a cruise ship is NOT in port (rare). And, the hot tub on the property was hot, but the jets never worked the entire five days we were there.

They had activities most days. Office is on second floor with no elevator.

The facade is bad. I don’t know if it’s under construction because nothing was happening the 5 days we were there. The office is not maintained. There is no lobby for guests to sit and wait in while if you arrive early before check in time. There were dirty dishes in the entrance of the office. The worst part of our vacation was on our second to the last night, there was a leak in the master bath light. That was scary because the light can become short and/or my children get electrocuted. I called their after hour numbers. Both the manager and the lady Angelica De Guzman who is supposed to live there in unit 2. Nobody answered. I left voicemails. Nobody called me even the next day. Apparently they were both on vacation. How convenient!!! There was no backup for them in case of emergencies??? I didn’t want to ruin our last full day in Cayman so I didn’t bother going to the office during the day. My family just didn’t use the master bath which was a huge inconvenience. There was a cleaning bucket that I just used to catch the water. Won’t recommend this place at all.

The room was very clean. It was a little outdated but not a big deal. The pool was very nice and I liked having a balcony. The washer and dryer was good too. Cons: the photos and the name of the resort are misleading. This is NOT A BEACHFRONT PROPERTY! After further research, I realized it was not a beachfront property. I tried to cancel the room about 45 days before check in and they would not allow me to. I explained I wanted beachfront, I was misled and there was plenty of time for another person to book. They offered only a 50% refund. I can’t afford to pay for a hotel I’m not staying in so I decided to stay. The beach access was supposed to be a short walk on the side of the hotel. Well when I got there I was informed there was NO BEACH ACCESS! They totally LIED about the water level being too high and that we would have to walk to another hotel to get to the beach. It was obvious there was never any beach access. It’s all slippery rock! NO BEACH!! The microwave was broken, the ceiling fan in the balcony was broken and the freezer was leaking so we didn’t get a lot of ice. These issues were fixed quickly but on top of the NO BEACH ACCESS and LYING about it, I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

love staying at 7 mile beach resort and club but so disappointed that the beach has been washed away. the frustrating part is this is not listed anywhere on their site. the beach has been gone since November 2018 and will not return until the currents change according to the locals. I just would have liked to know this before arriving. otherwise everything was wonderful as usual. the renovations are really nice and the location is still great! can't wait for the beach to return.
