Good hotel in a great area for exploring Quebec City. Our room was cosy but super-clean with a very comfy bed with lovely quality linens and pillows (so important!) Our room was nice and quiet (we were at the back; front might have been noisier as on a main road) Staff were fantastic, friendly and very helpful. Corridor carpets and decor a bit shabby but not a deal breaker; we would stay again. Excellent Iranian restaurant next door!

Nice hotel, I liked the brick rooms they gave the room a nice feel. The large bathtub was awesome, unfortunately the jets don’t actually work but it was nice to relax regardless. The work desk and comfortable chair made it nice for relaxing in the room. The bed was excellent, I slept well every night. Great restaurants near by and close to old Quebec. I would recommend staying here. Please keep in mind there is no pool.

The room was big and location was excellent. However, it was a bit noisy because it is surrounded by restaurants. In the room shampoo and conditioner bottles were empty and the front desk person was unable to provide them with us. There are a few maintenance problems such as a leaking bathroom forcet, a missing light bulb and loose power plugs.

We stayed at Unilofts Grande Allee two nights in mid-May of 2026. This is one of those old townhouses converted into a hotel. We stayed on the first floor, a very large room with a very high ceiling, with windows toward the street. Very clean and comfortable. Very good location, it's next to the Plains of Abraham, and perhaps a 20 minutes stroll to Old Quebec. That part of Grande Allee has a bohemian vibe, was my impression. They have a few parking places behind the building, but you are not guaranteed a spot. However it you find a spot it's free. I don't think the front desk is open 24/7, but when somebody was there, they were helpful.

It is an older downtown hotel, just steps away from Old Quebec. Lots of restaurants on the same street. It has a lot of character and charm. Which also means no elevator. We were on the third floor. There is very limited parking around back of an alley. We lucked out and got a space, but also adapted our plans so we would not loose it. We stayed two nights.
