Mislead in Des Moines
I was not very please with the place. I believe we were mislead in regard to what a good deal the price was. What we paid was more than the stay was worth. Upon arrival, we had to go in search of an attendant to check us in. The first room we were given had a foul smell. The second room was better, but carpet hadn't been cleaned in quite awhile. It smelled if you sat on the floor. The grounds were littered with trash. I don't believe anyone bothered to police the area, and the tenants certainly didn't. This is a place on the way downhill. We realized after we were there that it is a place that we stayed once before. This time the accommodations were definitely worse. We would not stay here, again.

Not at all happy with the $100 stay
The hotel room smelled - almost gagging me. holes in the walls, found a beetle under the top cover (not a bedbug but a bug nonetheless). It felt damp overall and my things smelled when I got home. Thank goodness it was only one night or I would have asked for a refund.

The lobby was the only semi-clean area in the entire hotel. The halls, carpets, elevator, bathrooms, and rooms were downright filthy and smelled of pot. I even had to wear shoes in the shower. Not any fault of the hotel, but the location is very noisy due to the proximity of the highway. The front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful and that's about the only thing I can say that's positive about my experience...

Road work made it a little hard to get in and out of the place. Room was clean. Road noise from the interstate ended late and started early. Staff was all very friendly.

Horrible stay at this hotel
My stay there was horrible. Staff was friendly but you had homeless bums camping out on the front patio smoking and drinking next to the door. I know they were homeless because when i left at 6 am they were still there sleeping. one of them came up to me in thd parking lot looking for a ride. Lol my room was a mess. Couldn't open the window. Even if you did all you hear is traffic. There were stains on the ceiling. Even the stairs and elevator were nasty. Looks like someone throu up. Will never stay again
