Terrible experience, shame about location
Dishonest staff, false advertising and practices.
Property had not been serviced at 13:40, check-in being at 14:00 (since Wed their check-in time on website has been updated to 16:00). In their communication they specify early check can be arranged on the day. We messaged them to say we will arrive around 13:30-13:45.
I had to call hotels.com, as they were not answering messages or calls. There were 4 staff in their office on the 5th floor of same building.
They tried to argue check-in was at 14:00, fair point, however the apartment would have taken longer than 20-30 min to be cleaned/serviced (If done properly)
Then they called cleaning staff, tried to lie about cleaning, giving us a different version of what they actually talked to cleaner and what cleaner said. Luckily, some of us speak a few languages. Very DISHONEST! A ‘sorry’ would have been enough, as things can happen sometimes.
We had to leave and come back after 1hr.
On the day of the check-out, advertised as 11:00am, at 10:40 when we returned from late breakfast to get our luggage the access code was not working anymore. We called Hotels.com again! Managed to locate cleaner on 4th floor, who also tried to argue about the check-out time despite being earlier than that. She lets us in to get our luggage.
Luggage storage inexistent, despite advertising.
Experience terribly poor.
Location and interior of place very good.
Very noisy from street noise.
Do yourself a favour, stay Elsewhere!!
