An excellent hotel in Paris city.

Worth considering
Very helpful and kind reception and throughout the stay. Location is great. We were upgraded and room was still pretty small but comfortable, but it is Paris and these are old historic structures. Can't say much about value as we booked for peak holiday season. Everyone was kind and considerate. While not sumptuous, breakfast was always fresh...eggs, meats, juices, yogurt, fruit etc so we never felt wanting. The downside for us was there is no restaurant in the hotel if that's important to you. I'd definitely consider this or one of its other hotels (I haven't yet), as they clearly care about their visitors.

Convenient, comfortable, delightful
Our stay in Hotel d'Orsay was decent, staff was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was great since it is close to river Seine, the Musée d'Orsay and the Louvre, all within 10 mins range on foot.

Lovely boutique hotel
Hôtel d'Orsay tried really hard with service - I was made to feel very welcome upon check-in and they spent time explaining the key features of the hotel. There were lots of fruit flies buzzing around in my bathroom - which might be usual for summertime in Paris - but I wasn't expecting bugs in what was otherwise a spotlessly clean hotel. Superb location for the Musée d'Orsay. TIP: Buy your ticket at the hotel frontdesk to skip all queues at the museum itself.

Love Paris
Nice hotel. Bathroom a little dated but very clean & comfortable. Good sized room also for a Paris hotel. Street was a bit noisy in the mornings as work was being done on the hotel and workmen were loading/unloading materials. Great location for sights, cafes & restaurants

Lovely boutique hotel
The location was convenient in so much as it was right near the d'Orsay subway stop and in an area central to all the main sites. It never felt like we had to walk too far to get where we wanted. That said, we did have to walk a fair distance for a restaurant every evening. There are a couple within a short distance, but the choices are much better in Saint Germain proper. We like walking, so it was not a problem, but this could be a negative for some. During the time we were staying, there was masonry work in progress on the exterior of the building. On the weekend, this was not an issue. But on Monday, the workers were working right outside our window. This was a pain as we had to keep the blinds closed when we were in the room and were unable to have our beloved afternoon nap because of the masons tapping on the walls. That said, I am realistic. I understand this type of work has to occur sometime and it is smart for a hotel to have it done in the offseason (we stayed in December). I wouldn't downgrade my rating because of this experience. The staff and overall service was excellent. They were apologetic about the work without being prompted with a complaint. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job. The young man on the front desk on the weekend was notably excellent (I wish I had have gotten his name, but he disappeared after the weekend). We were having problems with WiFi and he graciously lent us a portable WiFi hub at no cost. Overall, I was very happy with our stay.

Great location for museums- but attic room.
Fantastic location for Musee d'Orsay, the Orangerie, Grand Palais and Petit Palais. Breakfast was good and there is a business center computer that allows you to print for no charge. Rooms though were on top floor that were accessed by series of stairs after getting off elevator which was cumbersome with luggage. Second hotel booked through hotels.com that had rooms in what felt like an attic.

Fab hotel
Love this hotel! Fab location right near Musee D’Orsay and one street back from the river. Stylishly decorated, lovely, friendly professional staff, beautiful reception and bar area. The only downside was that our room (Ground floor Rm 01), whilst lovely, had everything we needed and looks onto a small secluded garden, was tiny! We really struggled for space. Overall still love this hotel and would go back!
