Good place, great location
Location and place was nice. The beach is right across the street. The pool area and bar is great and the staff is really nice and accommodating. The food is terrible at the restaurant. We had dinner there once and breakfast once. The party that gies every friday is obnoxious and you'll never get one of the free drinks you're supposed to get because it is packed. I think every local in town was there. It turns into a night club just so you know. We thought we would be hanging out drinking with other guests and having a few free drinks on the house. Not the case. We had to leave so we coukd go get a drink elsewhere. Bummer. We would probably stay there again but would avoid friday night if at all possible.

Good location in Tamarindo
Best Western is an older establishment, but very clean and the staff is excellent; always helpful and smiling. Breakfast was included and it was made-to-order and good. Bar/restaurant had good food and drink. Pool was lovely. Would recommend trying to book rooms 200s or 300s to get an ocean view. Beach is just across the road and numerous restaurants line the road to town. Town is about a 15 walk.
