Highs and lows
Hotel is very trendy. It’s trying very hard to be a bougie hipster hang out but we had trouble getting past the tiny room, the completely useless record player taking up the limited countertop space available and the super compact bathroom. Also, parking is nonexistent. No on-site parking and recommended garage is literally ACROSS THE RIVER. The restaurant was pretty good and the wait staff were great.

All a traveller needs
From the ever so friendly check-in people, to the happy bar staff, tantalising food (with a cool view) in Sophie's restaurant, and compact but comfortable rooms this hotel has all that a traveller needs. Situated within a stones throw from the train station and only 10 minutes stroll into the centre of Cork city it is very conveniently positioned. Decor eclectic with unifying themes throughout. Outdoor seating with a cute daytime barista coffee dock. The bar serves fab cocktails too (just saying)

Stunning hotel with amazing staff
Favourite hotel in Ireland and always a pleasure to stay there. Was treated to a room upgrade on arrival and allowed a very early check in to allow us to relax and make the most of it. Also made use of the gym, pool, sauna and steam room on both days which again, are very well equipped and make for a very relaxing experience. Definitely recommend and will be back again in the future.

Disappointing
Lovely idea. Clearly inspired by the Hoxton chain. Unfortunately it lacks the depth of the Hoxton. The service was terrible, lots of staff, mostly not achieving. Check in from 4 and check out at 11am(extended to 12, unless you pay). We travel frequently and this hotel stands out as beautiful, but lacks depth. The food was meh, but getting basics very wrong. Been woken by shouting cleaners in the hallway! Not a relaxing way to wake. Over all disappointing and would doubt we would return.
