Check out the rooms well before unpacking
The stay started out horribly. My brother and I were in town for our brother's funeral. Once my brother pulled open the pull out sofa, he discovered 2 piles of feces, old blankets and old pillows that were apparently folded in that manner. We reported this immediately to management. I should have called the health department but didn't. Unfortunately, there was no staff available to come clean the room as the night manager was the only one working at the time. We were offered another room. Our original room was cleaned the following day. Seth Buckworth was the night manager and he was fantastic about trying to make our stay good. He was able to rectify the issues to the best of his ability with a refund for our stay. He was kind and apologetic...and embarrassed for this issue. Rest of the stay was uneventful though the night bartender (female) was abrasive to a family member. I did call customer support during the stay, to file a complaint. I spoke with Daisy who was wonderful. She made sure the situation was rectified and did all she could to turn around a negative experience. I appreciate Daisy and Seth for their efforts. That is what customer service should do to maintain business, when issues arise.

Due to the distance from downtown, I would say the location is a bit overpriced, especially for it being off season. The area is so industrial/residential, charging for parking is insulting. The mattresses were hard, there isn’t much privacy in the bathroom due to sliding doors, large gaps at the bottom. Similar poor sealing around balcony doors made it noisy with wind whistling through. Other unknown HVAC noises were persistent. The sofa was tired, and things are starting to rust. Amenities like toilet paper were subpar and limited. It was a fine stay, but expected more based on brand standard.
