Don't stay here.
Terrible hotel/service, rooms are very dated, unable to control room temperature from within the room, informed staff on three occasions and nothing was done, tried to call every night from the in-room phone, but no one ever answers. The shower didn't work correctly and was leaking; again informed staff twice, and no joy. I asked for laundry to be done, they didn't take it, luckily managed to get it prossed the next day.

Very disappointing
I'm fortunate to travel with work and stay on hotels regularly, I quite often look for the double tree by Hilton brand as I expect you to get a good quality hotel. This was anything but. We paid for a queen size bed (I had mistakenly booked an accessible room) but I think the bed was a double, the toilet flush was broken, the kettle didn't work, the tea and coffee hadn't been topped up. We reported the toilet only for it to break again straight away. They sent a replacement kettle that didn't work, eventually we got one that did work but it was the wrong kettle for the base and didn't seem safe. There was only 1 hand towel between the 2 of us and 3 pillows when you needed 2 each as they were quite flat. On the 2nd night the room next door was extremely loud till 3am. This was a treat for my wife and I have to say I wouldn't stay again. There was lots of apologies from the staff but at no point was it raised with anyone other than the reception staff that we were aware of. Just very disappointed and it's put me off booking Hilton in the future.
