Wıll you be able to sleep?
Thıs ıs a pleasant, recently refurbıshed hotel ın a central area of Madrıd. The rooms are nıcely decorated, spotlessly clean. There ıs a lounge are wıth sofas, tables, drınks machınes and free computer termınals, The WıFı ıs excellent. I was gıvıng a room lookıng onto the back of the buıldıng whıch was very quıet untıl at around mıdnıght a sucessıon of trucks began to arrıve to unload pallet after pallet on fork lıft trucks for a rather large supermarket next door to the hotel. The receptıonıst polıtely agreed to change my room and the receptıon manager appeared suprısed by the events. Nevertheless ıt ıs hard to ımagine how thıs large supermarket wıll manage to stay supplıed wıthout those trucks comıng. Not beıng able to sleep, I went back to the old room to pıck up a book I had forgotten there . It was 4am and the trucks kept at ıt.

Good hotel, nice location
We spent a week here in order to visit Madrid for the first time. First, the hotel is nicely located just across the street from Principe Pio, a large shopping center with a metro and bus station and a supermarket next door. In back of the hotel is Casa Campo, a large park. A 10 minute walk will take you to the center of the old city near the Royal Palace, etc. Our room was well decorated and in excellent condition. High ceilings, plenty of closet space, large table, 2 bedside tables and excellent WiFi. There is a large "Living Room" area with lots of seating, very pleasant space to hang out without being locked in your room. Our interactions with staff were pleasant. Our only negative is that as others have noted, you will easily hear your neighbors through the walls but this did not impair our sleep. We paid about 79 Euros per night.

Very comfortable room with a lovely view over the Casa de Campo and a roof terrace with view of the palace. Bathroom was nice and clean though a bit small. Bed very comfortable. Only stayed one night. I wish I had booked my last night in Madrid there as well. Close to transportation (bus and metro). Didn't use any amenities but they seemed to be nice. Staff very pleasant and efficient. Walls were thin as I could hear my neighbor talking to his kids on the phone - and I could hear the kids!! Once they stopped talking, I was able to fall asleep.
