Don't stay here. You can do much better!
No phone in the guest rooms, poor and VERY late room cleaning (think 5pm) , and poor ventilation.

Buy some aircon!
The first impression was very nice but then it went downhill from there. My main concern is value for money. This is not a cheap hotel and yet they have black mould in the grouting of the bathrooms! This is always a test in my mind wether the hotel really cares about regular maintenance. The shower in the bathroom was poorly built/designed so water sprayed everywhere. The worst part was that the only window in the room opened out to an internal atrium. There is no air conditioning in the room. Apart from a cheap fan, there was no way to cool the room in midsummer. It was stuffy and sauna like hot. I paid a lot of money to stay in a room I could not sleep in. I felt haggard after leaving the place. The explanation from the staff was banal. What I interpreted, is that greed is more important that modernizing the comfort for guests. This was not a comfortable stay. The breakfast was good. I will not stay here again and I am a frequent visitor to Copenhagen.

Loved Copenhagen
Wonderful hotel and location. Our West facing room was hot in the afternoon , but opened the windows and had a great breeze. There was also a fan for the night. While on a side street, the noise was minimal . Nearby is a Netto grocery store, 7 Eleven, and many restaurants on the walking promenades. Close to City Hall, Metro and Central Train station. We walked everywhere as Copenhagen Centro is not that large. But beware the many bicycles and look both ways on the bike lanes

Very Good 8.0
First Kong Frederik Copenhagen
The location is excellent as it is in the Latin District where everything is accessible. This feature is important to me because we use only the room to sleep and shower. However, the hotel is dated. The furnitures are old and worn. Be careful using the bathtub as it is tall. They don’t provide bath mat nor handles to hold on to when climbing in and out of tub. Breakfast was average.
