Checking in was smooth. I haven't stayed in a Doubletree for some years, but my grandkids were disappointed there weren't any cookies. I fell walking into the entrance and hit my face on the concrete & I needed ice. There wasn't an ice machine anywhere near our room. Why they put us in a handicapped room when we had 2 kids, I will never know. The placard showed that the ice machine was on 2nd floor. I went to 2nd floor, where the placard showed ice machine with arrow....looked all over - no ice machine. Called front desk from phone on that floor. She said the ice machine was in the lobby of another building???? It was 10 degrees out, icy and I didn't want to fall again. Bed was uncomfortable and not the quality we expected. There were people above us running and banging and sounded like they had a band. Even the kids had a hard time sleeping. I mean there are noisy people everywhere, but in a higher-priced, better-quality (supposedly) hotel, I expect more soundproofing. I felt like I was in a motel 6.

Great overall. Don’t think our ac worked and had to open the window to cool it down (in the middle of winter which tells you how out it was).

Got snowed in here when freeways closed down and had to stay an extra night. I’m glad we stayed here instead of one of the cheaper motels because there is a restaurant on-site (not outstanding but reasonably good food at typical hotel prices.) Bottom line in Flagstaff is that you get what you pay for. This place was well worth the extra $40 or so per night.

Awesome hotel and staff. There were a couple of dogs on our floor that barked throughout the night. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

Due to the snow storm that was to come, the town was busier than usual and the hotel was packed! This also let us know how thin the walls of this hotel is & you could clearly see the hallway through the door edges since they’re so poorly lined up. We could hear basic conversations from our neighbors & the footsteps from the upstairs neighbor. It was the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in. Bring a set of earplugs if you want to stay here!! Seriously!

Probably the cleanest room I’ve ever stay in. If I had to complain about one thing. I would have to say the remote control for the tv took forever to respond.
