In love with Wallace
Who could not love Wallace? And, the Wallace Inn is perfect. Brought our bikes and stayed three nights. You can walk to everything and there is a lot to see. Really great how the Inn and local businesses promote one another; makes for comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Wallace Inn
The towels were very soft—not like a typical scratchy hotel towel. The room was clean and well maintained. The only thing I would change is putting an ice machine by the vending machine on the 2nd floor.

Bicycle the Bitterroot mountains.
This IS THE PLACE TO STAY if you are cycling the Hiawatha. Rick Shaffer is super helpful with pre trip planning, and the shuttle to Lookout Pass or East Portal is a great service. Hotel is in great shape, good beds and very clean. Dont forget to ride the Trail of the Coeur d Alane, perhaps to Mullan or down to the Snake Pit for lunch.

Visit Wallace
Our first trip to Wallace. We were impressed by the town and we enjoyed our three nights at the Wallace Inn. I think it's a good location for biking and hiking.
