Staff was very helpful and pleasant. Location was very close to my appts and there was many, many restaurant choices within two or three miles.
It was good
Bathroom floor was very dirty. i was disappointed there were no relaxing chairs in our room. Only 1 desk chair, not good when there are 2 people to eat a late supper.
Openness to room location Only one entrance to property
Room is not clean , human’s hair all over the bathroom just nasty, but the best part was cockroaches . Shame
Everything was clean. The staff, Bethany was friendly and hard working
Everything was great, if i asked for one specific thing to be changed, I'd say it would have to be the pillows. They are way too soft and small. Other than that very nice and clean.
This hotel is very dirty. Hair on the towels, floor and in bathtub. Soap scum in the tub.
Website was NOT updated; pool and full breakfast advertised were NOT available. Room had no toilet paper, no towels, no clock, hard floors. AC broke, filthy windows, tiny pillows & only 3 for 2 people. Lots of footsteps above. No discount offered for lack of ammenities. Just a very horrible stay. I'll never go back!
Website said pool and hot tub were open. Public pools are open in Iowa. Both were closed! Attendant said due to covid. But both were scummy and low in water so have been closed for months. I think they just didn't want to reopen then. This was the main reason I chose this place. At 11:00 pm I had to notify desk that family above me were still running around like a herd of elephants. With no carpet it is so loud!! I had to call desk and it rang till it stopped running, 10 min, still no answer. Went to desk, waited another 10. Still waited another hour till it was quieter! Waited for bag breakfast of water, orange, granola bar, and had to call from the lobby phone, wait many rooms, and I heard the attendant day from the back, oh my God! As if I was taking up too much of their time. She saw me and said, oh, well, I'm just tired of talking on the phone. This behavior from the service industry is terrible!!
