Don’t stay here.
The room was very noisy. Children were running in the halls at all hours. We ate breakfast the first morning in the hotel’s restaurant. The staff was very unwelcoming. In fact one of the waitresses refused to wait on some guests because she felt their children wasn’t dressed appropriately. Unbelievable experience.

Lacklustre
Hotel staff were indifferent. Room was ok, but the bath leaked all over the floor. This had obviously happened before as the room smelt musty and when we pointed it out in the morning they told us they already knew!!! Why put us in a room that has a problem! Breakfast staff totally disinterested, more interested in laying tables than serving . Had to ask on numerous times for the right order.

6/10 Good

Staff friendly. Stayed 1 night. Very convenient location. Room spotless. Only 4 uht milk cartons for tea/coffee in room for 2 people. 1 window was locked so could only open 1 window and room was hot. Enquired at reception after arrival around 3pm and guy on desk said maintenance wouldnt be around until 9pm and it would be done then. All we needed was a key for the window!!. We arrived back to room at 12.30 am and window was still locked. Too tired at this stage to ask about it again as we were only staying the night anyway. Noticed also that toilet cistern was coming away from wall in in ensuite bathroom. We didnt avail of breakfast as this would have been an extra €15 each on top of €144 for room only rate. We had to pay €9 for car park for 24hr rate, (hotel had concession rate with car park owners) but if you left the car park within those 24 hours you would have to pay €2.40 an hour when you returned or after 7pm there was a charge by car park of €8 until sometime next day. I recently stayed in a 4 * hotel in Wexford and did not have to pay anything to park when you were a hotel resident. Hotel stamped a ticket to cover you for 1 week in car park even though we were only there 3 nights. This did not feel/look like a 4* hotel. The decor was drab and dark. Can't comment on the food as didnt eat there.
