Check in was easy, and I appreciated that we were able to drop off our bags early for a very small fee. The front desk was friendly and enthusiastic. The room was indeed small, but we had read previous reviews and amticipated it, so that was not a problem for us. You certainly do get what you pay for, though. We found the bed to be very firm and uncomfortable. The room was clean, however only one small light above the mirror worked - not the main light, or the light above the bed, nor did we have any working lights in the bathroom. We found it to be annoying, but I also think it needs to be mentioned we didn't report it to the staff to give them the opportunity to fix it. Overall, I enjoyed the friendliness and cleanliness, and would be willing to give them one more chance.

Great base for trip
Great location, central to everything. We had to miss a night because of cancelled flight but the staff and communication was great. Friendly, helpful. We were on the third floor - only stairs, they were hard work at the end of a long day with lots of walking. We had no window, which was a little disorientating but the room was well laid out, comfortable and clean. Perfect base for sightseeing.

Ok for a night
Stayed for one night August 2023. Booked a double with a window but was downgraded to a windowless room (no refund so far for the difference). This is a 7m sq. room in a 2x2 layout...2 blocks are the bed, 1 block is the combined toilet,basin,shower space and 1 block is the space into which the door opens, so very compact (even tricky for 2 people) with storage under the bed. The bed was fine for sleeping, with spotless sheets. The basin/shower area is challenging with barely any shelf space and the shower curtain pulls around to fill half the space, though on my visit the shower had no hot water so not ideal for an early start. The staff are cheerful and eager to help. There are no facilities other than a coffee machine at reception. It's clean and good enough for one night but I wouldn't stay longer.
