Really enjoyable
The breakfast was great. The room was stylish and comfortable. There was a slight issue turning on the heater and it causing the smoke detector to go off. We were able to get the room to a comfortable temp and then didn't use the heater anymore so it wouldn't go off while we slept. The bed was great.

I was excited by the layout of the room when I first arrived, but quickly realized that several things in my room were broken.(Toilet paper roller fell off the wall when touched, the shower door would not close. There was a big gap in the door and the floor flooded every time we showered. Our window was broken and furniture had questionable stains. On our first night, fire alarm went off at 4am, so everyone evacuated. We all stood in the rain until the fire dept left and eventually went back to our room. No one communicated anything. The alarm continued to sound until almost 6am. I spoke to Brandon (mgr) about all of the broken things and he was completely flippant and indifferent. No apology. He literally said “OK” and that was it. Our friends next door didn’t have a working toilet in their room so used ours for the first day of our stay. Just awful.

We spent the night in this lovely place and loved it! Room was clean and smelled good, staff was nice. Some more signage would be helpful (for example, a sign at every building door with room numbers for this door lol) But overall great place!!

Good
When we travel to Charlotte we usually stay at Towneplace Arrowwood. Everything was fine as it usually is minus the bedroom that I slept in (Room 317, 2 bedroom). The room smelled like mildew/mold the entire time. I brought lysol but that did not help. It messed up my sinuses really bad. Other than that, I love Towneplace and will be back soon, just will make sure im not on that room anymore.
