We stayed in the deluxe 2 bedroom apartment for 8 nights. There was nothing deluxe about it.
The first thing you saw across from the entrance was a wall splattered with oil stains from the stove top. The “2nd bedroom” had no door, but 2 curtains for privacy, there was no cupboard or anything to store clothes in - just a huge empty room with only a bed and two small bedside tables. The bathroom was without a shower curtain, the “hand soap” had been refilled with something different and had not even been cleaned and the tap was completely loose. The “city view” promised with the room was of the backyard and the neighbors balconies. The kitchen lacked teaspoons, pans for the oven and only had a tiny fry pan, huge pot and colander to cook with. As a result I could hardly use the kitchen facilities.
I contacted Athens Suites via messenger advising of my issues. They sent someone to “fix” the bathroom tap and someone else to change the bathroom soap. He advised me that they would source a shower curtain and everything that was missing from the kitchen. That NEVER happened.
As for the lacking “city views”, the lady on messenger told me that she could not find where such a view was promised. I sent her two snapshots of such and she never replied.
The location was good, with a great cafe and supermarket below. Close to bus stops and taxis.
But it was overall a very disappointing stay.
