Trinity City Hotel
Fabulous location,
Classy hotel, decor was funky and inviting. Bar food was very reasonably priced and very tasty. Bedroom was very clean and comfortable with tea making facilities. Location fantastic as within walking distance of grafton st and temple bar. Loved the valet parking and the cost was reasonable. Have to make a special mention of a true Dublin gent , Eugene , doorman/ carpark man. Great Dublin wit, helpful and went out of his way to retrieve something from my car. Will definitely be making a return visit.

A really bad stay at this hotel
The hotel website left off very important facts: 1. You have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to your room. 2. The suite was located directly over their bar, disco, and party room, so the noise was extreme every night till 1am. 3. No air conditioning. Had to wait nearly an hour to get our bags delivered upon check in. and 4. They don't make up the room on a daily basis until 6 PM.

Convenient and comfortable for city visits.
We have stayed at this hotel several times. It's very convenient for central Dublin events. This time we were initially given a room at the back overlooking the fire station. These, we know from experience, can be noisy so we asked if there was an alternative. We were given room 201 which turned out to be right next to the cupboard where the cleaning staff keep their equipment so we had the noise of the door banging and the staff chatter every morning. Breakfast is excellent and the restaurant food was also good and the service is always helpful and friendly. It is unfortunate that there are no normal dining tables to eat it at though. All the tables have low, casual style seating which is terrible for eating a meal. It is the same in the bar.
