I have stayed in this hotel numerous times when visiting Hamburg. It's always a pleasure to return. The location is perfect!

Excellent and quiet location, comfortable beds and pillows, complimentary tea and coffee in the rooms, we had a lovely week-end here. We were able to check in already before Midday and the staff was friendly. Generous breakfast buffet. Would definitely return!

In town for a wedding, this was on the short list of recommended hotels. Unfortunately it was a heat wave, and Germany does not believe in AC, including NO AIR CONDITIONING in the hotel. The second night they were able to bring up a fan which provided little relief. Window was facing into a small courtyard area with no breeze. Nearly checked out and found something with AC. It's historic and they do take pride in the hotel. The WiFi was not strong enough to use in our room on the far side of the hotel from the lobby / street. Staff was pretty friendly. Hoffbrau House is next door. Conveniently located for walking the heart of the city around the lake and shopping districts.

This booking I made through you at property he offered why you are not booked directly and they provide us very small rooms at the checkout time they collect us call charges approximately EURO 36 I called india for four minutes and as per talk with him they charged us .35/ minutes they also charge late check out we already take his permission in morning and they allowed us but due to this booking with you they charge extra from us next time I cannot book any hotel from your side in pay at hotel conditions. If possible resolve this issue

My room was comfortable, spacious and in good condition (I had a Superior Room). The bar had a good selection of whiskies! The hotel location is excellent for walking into the centre and getting the undergroud. If I am in Hamburg again I will book this hotel.

This is the perfect location - about a 20 minute walk from the Main Train Station and near quality stores, restaurants and top-notch sights. In addition to its location, the other highlight is that the staff is exceptional - very friendly, helpful and professional and the wi-fi works well. There is no real downside to staying here, but the building is a bit older and, as a consequence, is not as quiet as a more modern place that has better sound-proofing components in its construction. My room was in the center of the hotel and looked out over an inner opening area and noise filtered upwards, which is not a huge deal, but something you hear if you are staying in one of those rooms. The room itself was well appointed, but the bathroom was a bit musty as it did not have a fan in it. In truth, those are minor things and not at all limiting factors as I would stay here again if I wanted to be in this part of town.

Satisfactory stay, service was quite rude but the rooms were clean and the breakfast was great.
