We're very happy to have chosen this hotel for our stay. Staff was welcoming and helpful, and our room was comfortable (especially the bed) and clean. The bathroom had a great shower and plenty of room for our toiletries. Also, the location in Sydney's CBD was excellent for our purposes: we were within walking distance of The Rocks and the harbor to the north, and the Strand Arcade and QVB malls to the south. We also found some great restaurants nearby. LOL - the only downside was walking up the hill from George Street at the end of the day!

This is a high quality hotel from the 1990s. Everything is clean and functional, but there are some missing modern items. There is no desk for working. There is a minibar filled full with product. Who uses a minibar anymore? If one wants alcohol one could call room service, and a fridge full of "products" just means that there is no place to store personal items such as medicine. Also the television service seems to want to sell movies (like the 1990s). Just provide access to a few local TV stations with news and weather. People these days use their own devices. It would be nice to be able to "cast" or link a personal device to the larger TV screen, but that only seems to work for certain proprietary devices. Basically it doesn't work. I recommend this hotel based on comfort and location, but wish it would become more modern.
