Comfortable, friendly staff and clean
Very comfortable hotel, quiet and cosy rooms, good breakfast, very clean and super service from friendly staff. Good location - close to Karlsplatz and Naschmarkt. Definitely recommended for any stay in Vienna

Good location for access to Vienna Tourist sites
Good location, slightly outside of the central district, but 5 min walk to Underground Station, 3 min walk to tram - so easy access to all the tourist spots. Hotel is very historic, but yet very clean and efficient. Good value, and I would recommend.

General review
Great area to stay in loads of restaurants nearby, found the hotel room spotless for first few days but towards the end had to ph down for towels... The breakfast was fantastic.

Great location, nice hotel
The location is great. There is a tramway right around the corner that goes directly to the center of the city. It’s also within easy walking distance of everything. The front desk staff was very helpful. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. The room was very nice, clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. The only problem was that it had a very strong “new carpet” smell. The front desk offered to move us to a different room, but one room that was available was not renovated and the other was smaller, so we chose to stay. (The older rooms are definitely in need of renovation. They are clean but old-fashioned and very tired-looking.) We opened the windows a crack and that helped a lot with the smell. Like many hotels in Europe, a “double bed” is not actually a double bed, it is two single beds pushed together, with two single comforters. As a couple, we hate that - you fall into the crack, and the comforters come off at night. But again, this is a common problem in Europe. And at least the beds were comfortable. The hotel offers several different styles of pillow. The breakfast buffet was pretty good. There is one waiter, an older guy, who was disagreeable in some way every day (3 times at breakfast and once at lunch in the restaurant), and he affirmatively kicks you out at 10:30. (Usually, when a hotel says their breakfast runs until 1030, they mean that they stop serving at 1030. In this case, you can’t even stay and finish your food after 1030.)
