Check beforehand
First off I was given a wrong post code and we ended up at the nain Ibis hotel in the city center and we hace to pay £7.00, the a taxis to right hotel. Because of the location he dropped us off on another road and we have to walk towards the hotel. The receptionists were fine. I couldn't workout how us the temperature system, and we were given 3 big towels and no hand towels. The double bed was nothing to write home about. The quest were noisy and someone knocking in middle of night. I requested for a taxis the number was given to me call the taxis myself.

Does what it needs to for price.
Fine as ever. Staff nice. Really need more hooks especially in bathroom as towels slip off the one hook there. Only about 5 hangers in a family room so yes HOOKS would be useful. Really need the ledge under Tv to be wider to put things on in absence of any kind of table. But cheap and cheerful.

Great value if you are not light-sensitive
The hotel was clean and modern and staff were very friendly. The room was small (as expected), but the bed was comfortable and the shower was both warm and had good pressure. The only let-down was a very bright green led in the ceiling (I assume for the smoke alarm?). This was so bright it lit up the room clearly and rendered the blackout blind pointless. There were sticky marks around it where other guests have clearly tried to block the light with tape. I found it difficult to sleep and I'm not usually particularly sensitive to light.

Good basic hotel with friendly staff, close to gig location and near main shopping area. If you're driving, remember to get your token validated, didn't realise this was an option until I arrived, that was a nice surprise.

Modern and chic lobby and cafe. Rooms are basic, but clean. Only thing missing were hand towels - a bit odd to only have large towels. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Ibis basic
The hotel is pleasant enough and near to city centre. Room was basic, no hairdryer though or chair to sit on. The other issue was a blood stained pillow which I didn’t see until the next morning!, Not very pleasant really, I did report it on checkout (room 503).
