Just ok
Our stay was just ok Check in was not great our booking stated Checkin from 14.00 so we arrived at 14.10 to be told check in is at 15.00 on a weekend Reception made no effort to see if our room was ready just took our bags and we were told to come back after 15.00 Our room was nice ,clean, well equipped however I would not call it a superior double Because there was nothing superior about it … I know 172 sq foot ain’t much but with a double bed small bathroom, tiny shower this leaves no room to swing a cat Ok for one night with no luggage but defo not superior….tiny Location was excellent 24 hour room service menu ran from 11am to 9.45 pm So no not 24 hours no breakfast in bed as check out is at 11am

Lovely old hotel in central location
A lovely stay at a beautiful old hotel in a great location near Hyde Park. Perfect for our family gathering. We had a small attic room right at the top of the building 5th floor but it was clean and spacious enough, a nice bathroom and a very comfy king size bed. The furniture is a bit dated and no air-con obviously due to the age of the property & the room was quite warm but the electric fan provided was very welcome. The staff were all very pleasant & helpful and the full English breakfast was delicious. I would definitely consider staying here again

Pretty Hotel/Great Staff
The staff was amazing! Our rooms were cleaned daily. The desk staff made sure we had transportation to the airport even though there was a transportation strike the day we were leaving. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only negative is that the first day it was 93F/33C outside and the hotel does not have air conditioning. They did provide a fan, but it was still hot. After that day, it was comfortable sleeping with the windows open.
