VB tourney
In town for the VB tourney. 6 blocks from the convention center. You can walk through the skywalk to get there. Plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. Service in the hotel bar was very good. The only criticism I have is the elevators were slow. Good place to stay.

Great Location, Great Staff
The location was great & the hotel staff was very friendly, welcoming, helpful & professional. The parking ramp attached was overpriced, even with the "deal" the hotel offered if you gave them your ramp ticket ($25/night w/ the deal). I didn't know this until I was already situated, so I let my friend know who was driving separate to park elsewhere so we weren't both stuck w/ that higher bill & she found a ramp an extra block away for $12/night. So, she made out ok there. The room was comfortable & clean, but there was no room fridge, which was quite disappointing. I was staying 2 nights & had beverages I wanted to keep cold. There was not an ice machine on every floor either, so it was a bit inconvenient to get ice to keep things cold (had to go 3 floors down). I used the ice to fill the extra sink in the room to use as my cooler, so at least I had that option. I got free breakfast tickets thru the hotels.com website, was able to use one Monday morning before I checked out. Breakfast was great, was a sit down meal, not buffet & the staff working in the cafe were so friendly. They seemed genuinely happy to have me there & it was a bright spot in my day. Thank you to the two ladies who were working that morning! You were awesome!

Family weekend
Rooms are clean and comfortable. Hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and both Target field and US Bank stadium. Check in is always slow here. To be fair, I did. Have multiple rooms this time for family, but it still seems to take longer to check in here than most other places.

Weekend Football Game
King room was very small, not luxury at all - parking garage area to get to hotel is a little sketchy and employees outside the stairway were smoking weed two different times we came through there. Our room down at end of the hall next to ice machine , soda machine and probably because we booked third party that is one of the rooms they give for that kind of booking. Walking distance to Stadium , Eateries and Church was good. Breakfast was OK

Hotels.com booking = hotel doesn’t care about you
The hotel is nice and we have stayed here several times over the years. You are definitely paying for the name and location. The service wasn’t good. We booked a king room and were given a room with two tiny beds. They said since we booked on hotels.com that we could not get the room we wanted since we didn’t book through the hotel. So they basically punished us for using this website. There also was room service dishes in the hallway pretty much during our entire stay. Lastly, since we inquired about the incorrect room, our room was not tidied up for our second night stay. They said it wasn’t intentional, but the housekeeper (who was very nice and apologetic) didn’t even have our room on her list. Clearly something was fishy the entire time... or their service really has gone downhill. Either way, this will be the last time we stay at this location. Also, the parking is “reduced” to $25 for hotel guests, but they were letting people park in the ramp for the football game for $10. I really feel bad for writing this review, because we are not complainers. This was just a horrible experience for us.
