Ocean breeze stay.
Great location within easy walking distance to main attractions and sites of Santa Monica. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we got an early checkin. Room was spacious with a nice balcony big enough for a couple of chairs with a view of the ocean. Slight disturbance for last three days with hotel picketed by protesters but didn’t stop us from doing anything but some. Pose was irritating. Would recommend this as a place to stay in Santa Monica.

The counter was not in good attitude, I spent nearly $500.00 and ended up getting a double bed room without notice up front when I checked in. Even when I went down to negotiate the deal - still not getting good feedback and solution. Even though they claimed they could waive the tax.. that really did not help me to get the suite room I booked. Also they said they offered the breakfast and it ended up with simple complimentary due to strike happening...........

It’s not as good as you think it is.
The location of this hotel is quite good when it comes to Santa Monica, but the valet staff who greeted us were extremely off putting, then the staff who checked us in botched almost every part of the process and then booked us in a different room than we paid for. The hotel itself is trying to be nice but if you look closely everything is falling apart and kind of gross. A lot of construction going on across the street too - there’s better options in SM for your stay for not much more money, especially when you factor in the $32 destination fee per night and $50+ parking per night.
