Ridiculous room deposit. Be careful.

We had a prepaid booking. When we tried to check in they required an unlimited access to our credit card as a room deposit at their sole discretion. This being ridiculous and risky, I offered to pay a cash deposit which was in their published terms but they refused. I demanded and received an on the spot refund. Both motel each side of this place a better and don’t try to charge you a blank cheque room deposit. Just arrogant rude people. Much better options nearby.
