A clean and comfortable room . The reception and bar areas are full of character. Friendly bar staff and a wonderful breakfast buffet . Hotel is in a very good location for both the beach and old town

Forced to pay extra just for a double bed
Disappointed with our stay. The hotel was ok, but we booked a room and they gave us 4 twin beds upon check in. As we are a couple, we asked to swap to a room with just one double bed and we’re told we would need to pay €70 per night to “upgrade” to a room with a double bed. I don’t know how an upgrade means going from 4 beds to 2, but the new room was also much smaller than the other one and the bathroom was nowhere near as nice. Definitely not an upgrade in our eyes and we felt like we were gouged for extra money just for a double bed. Would not recommend.

Good location, great doorman
Great location. Beautiful entrance with the old convent style over the bar. We requested an upgrade because the double is two slim single beds pushed together. The next room up was a lot nicer but the view is awful! Quite a noisy hotel with the hard wood floors. The porter/doorman is absolutely so helpful he really made our stay especially with the bike hire. Be warned that the bar is understaffed and the hotel state that it is not their responsibility as it isn’t part of the hotel…. I don’t understand how that can be given it’s a massive selling point. Was disappointed by the poor bar service- wasn’t the girls fault it’s just understaffed. Wouldn’t return.

The hotel is in a great location. Spacious modern bedroom and bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Minor negative point - there was some noise coming from the adjacent rooms, due to the hard flooring, but did not impact sleep.
