Honeymoon Adventure!
Arguably the best decision we made for our honeymoon was to stay at the Ladera Resort! It was BEAUTIFUL from the moment we arrived. The entire resort is breathtaking, but the view from our room (Suites at Paradise Ridge) was truly unforgettable and only rivalled by the view from Dasheene restaurant, which is an absolute must for dinner! Also, we were very surprised at how much larger the rooms are than they appear online. Perhaps the best part of our stay was the employees. They made us feel so welcomed and at peace throughout our stay. From the front desk and concierge to the butlers and the restaurant staff, every person we interacted with was top notch! It was truly a pleasure to interact with them during our stay. In fact, they were so great, we want to give them additional kudos by mentioning them by name (apologies for any misspellings!!). So massive thanks to Devante, Vianney, Irvin, Saidley, Theo, Cindy, Mishka, Lee, Jennifer, and the entire team at Ladera for making our honeymoon absolutely perfect! We can't wait to come back and see you all again!

I'd will first say we are a LGB couple- while the staff was very welcoming, they were also very intrusive with almost every staff member asking if we were sisters or best best friends. That aside- there were constant interruptions at our room in the morning and evening. And question after question about being sisters or friends. It was not the staff position to ask since I emailed and asked if it was LGBT friendly. That aside, the view, the rooms, there are no words that can explain just how magestic this resort is. The food is subpar- nothing to write home about. All the ladies at the desk were amazing and helpful. A side note: the General Managers wife- makes it socially awkard and uncomfortable/ the staff knows what they are doing and she should let them be.

The service at Ladera was top notch. Everyone was so kind&helpful. I was a bit hesitant about the 3 wall concept bc mosquitoes love me & I'm a bit afraid of bugs but I'm so glad we tried it. We stayed in one of the paradise ridge suites. It was very spacious, quiet, & private. Our view was amazing from the front looking at the pitons to the back where the greenery& breeze were so refreshing. I did get like 4 or 5 bites one day or night when I was getting dressed to go out but that was it. They have insect repellent&after bite spray available. Our butlers...Devonte, Theo, Rohan,& Schol were all outstanding& provided superior customer service. Devonte took care of us several days& felt like family by the end of our visit. We selected the all inclusive plan(3 course meal)so we only ate at Dasheene while we were there. It was definitely worth it. The food & drinks were good! Breakfast menu varies if you go to the restaurant so the last 2 days we went so I could get a waffle. Pancakes,piton burgers,&saltfish fritters were good.Dinner: Loved the lamb chops, fresh seafood selections,salmon/mushroom risotto, &lava cake.Nate&Vienney at Dasheene were awesome. Cons: Could be pricey without plan, slower service if they are busy,need more desserts. Great beach nearby! Tanisha at front desk was sweet. We did have water/toilet issues the last day. Manager personally apologized &made accommodations for us. I'd still recommend Ladera without any pause!! Can't wait to return!!

Ladera was an outstanding property with unique suites with private pools and 3 walled open space. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Location location location. The views from the open air suite were wonderful. Loved the all inclusive option which is much different than most. Dasheene was an absolutely perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner spot. Magnificent views and wonderful food and service. Highly recommend this resort!
