Nice, but pricey and no made service.
The room was clean when we got there, two queen sized beds were made with two pillows for each person. The pool was open, but limited to under 10 people. The only problems I had with the place were the fact that they have stopped maid service, and when we checked in the sign wasn't there, it didn't show up until we left 2 days later. Coming back to your room expecting it to have been cleaned and new towels and not having those there was a bit of a shock. The weekend we went the room was very expensive, so I doubt we'd be back at this time of year. Over all it's a good no frills place to stay.

My wife and I, along with our two children, took a last minute long weekend to Traverse City to enjoy some fall scenery. Comfort Inn was rated highly by guests and reasonably affordable for the timing. I called ahead and asked if their pool was open and about breakfast options. The gentleman on the phone was very courteous. Checking in was a breeze, and again the staff we interacted with was cheery and professional. The room was adequate. Two queen beds that were comfortable. Carpet could stand to be replaced. The bathroom was so tiny you had to lift a leg around the toilet to get the door closed. Shower was hot though and had decent pressure. A fridge in the room was nice for leftovers and drinks. The pool and hot tub were open 24 hours and nobody was their anytime we used them. It was great for the kids. Breakfast was grab and go - no hot foods - but pretty good. The cleaning staff were also incredibly friendly, even interacting with our kids. From a customer service stand point, easy 5 stars. Considering the room layout and condition though, we’d rate the hotel at 3.5 out of 5.
