Did not honor the view I paid for

I was really disappointed with the room we were given. I paid a special price to get a view of the red rocks, but were given a room facing the opposite side straight into a construction wall. We arrived after sunset so it didn't affect our evening view, but we were really looking forward to waking up to the scenery before our half marathon race. We were pleased to see they provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the shower, however all 3 were empty when we tried using them. I was able to request new bottles at the front desk but it was already too late for my friend who took a shower with just the bar of hand soap. Breakfast was very basic although they did provide frozen breakfast burritos you could microwave, yogurt, cereal, granola bars, fruit, danishes, and muffins (all individually packaged like you would find in a vending machine) to take on the go. The building is very old but the rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. I would have been 4.5/5 happy with my stay had we gotten the room we paid for. Instead, it's a 2.5/5.
