The rooms definitely need updating. It wouldn’t be considered resort material. The only friendly staff were the security guards posted at the front and the bar tender at the entrance. The rest of the staff seemed overwhelmed, which they voiced to guests and lacked any enthusiasm. You didn’t see anyone cleaning the lobby area where people congregated. You also couldn’t get food there to save your life, had to leave to eat.
For the price not worth it at all. Giving this place the benefit of the doubt with covid but not impressed or happy with this place at all. For starters they are not going house keeping ? Even if you are not in the room they will not clean it or change anything but they will charge you a $20 nightly fee ? Unsure why this was being charged. Also, room service just completely lied multiple times.
Overpriced, unkept, and disappointing during the week. The plumbing in the room was backed up (shower and toilet), ceiling tiles were stained and in poor condition, didn’t feel the room or bathroom was entirely clean. None of the shops were open. No spa appointments available, other than a pedicure. Room service was sub-par.
Nice grounds for walking, good location super clean lobby and shops
We arrived at our room that was covered in dead flies. It was not what was shown in the pictures. Luckily we were able to switch rooms after talking with more that three employees from the resort. Horrible food and management.
The scenery is unparalleled. We had a room with a view of the bay and the colors of the leaves on the trees made for a beautiful vista.
The resort needs to be updated it’s old and dingy, no access to the hot tubs, pool hours closed at 7pm and 8pm service was horrible at brunch at the Aries restaurant. For the money spent I’d recommend staying at on of the beach front resorts much closer to town.
Property was “fine”, though obviously in need of updating. Expected “more” considering “resort” in the name. Our room had broken HVAC as the temperature was not adjustable and the fan could not be turned off. Covid security was in full force at the entrance (5 security guards) with mask and temperature checks. After 11pm not a soul at the door. Had to walk through the only open restaurant/bar to get to the elevators where a very large number of young people were gathered without masks or any attempt at social distancing. Clearly the Covid response at the entrance was just for show.
Property in great condition and staff very helpful and professional. Would definitely stay again.
Very spacious room in the Tower with great views. Very comfortable bed with luxurious bedding. Very friendly and helpful staff.
