Check in and check out was difficult. Started to put us in a room off courtyard with construction going on but changed us to different room. Lovely tubs in room but had to request robes rather than having them in the room.
Very comfortable environment, stylish and clean rooms. Great view of city from room. Service while pleasant, is nothing to shout about. I was moved to Dukes while Princenhof is refurbished. I was told this was an upgrade yet I wasn’t really able to make use of upgrade facilities. It would have been better to have been pre informed about this so I could pack a bathing costume and make use of Spa facilities. A pre warning would have meant my taxi dropped me off at the appropriate reception and I wouldn’t have to wait and walk in the rain. Lift was not working upon checkin and no assistance offered to explain this. Had to request shower gel and tea bags when not replenished, and then wait a few hours and chase when this was forgotten. Welcome drink was forgotten and offered on check out. Cava, beer or soft drink was offered, caused a commotion when I asked if this could just be a cup of tea. Extra hour for late check out was appreciated. Overall, nice location and environment but nothing exceptional.
Overall good experience, close proximity to the center. Only complaint is breakfast, it’s not mentioned that is 25 euro per person plus city tax. The staff do no mention it until you check out and ask for it. The hotel summary paper included in each room just says it’s extra for having the breakfast in room. For two people, we paid $66 USD for very average breakfast for one day, it seems outrageous for the quality of the breakfast.
Great little hotel, convenient location, nice big rooms, great enormous breakfast, super friendly staff.
Fantastic location, gorgeous boutique hotel and perfectly friendly staff.... not to mention the comfy bed, sumptuous duvet and well stocked bar!!
A beautiful small hotel, great staff would highly recommend, & lovely spacious room (#29).
The hotel was located perfectly in the centre of Brugge with a short and easy walk to everything. The hotel was superb with very friendly staff that gave us great tips on where to explore and eat out.
Luxury hotel with a real family feel. I loved this place and am a hard marker. I hope to be back. Rooms were comfortable, clean, cozy and quiet. It's also in an amazing location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bruges!
The room we had was fabulous. Very comfortable, very clean and very quiet. The bar area was very nice and the snacks were delicious. The staff, Anne and Sarah, were fabulous. They were professional, thorough and personable.
Excellent hotel in excellent location
