Great Staff. Covid precautions are adequate and enforced. Good food, restaurant options in spite of Covid limitations. Reservations for dinner at any restaurants are required, IN PERSON at the Lobby. Has a musty smell in the air from the beach (?). Our room is spacious and clean, but gets noisy as we can hear people passing by, and doors getting slammed. We have been awakened @ 3 am, 6 am by these noises and normally noises don’t bother us much. Pool is cold (in fairness, weather has been rainy) and smaller than we are used to. Activities by the staff are fun and lively. Wi-Fi is spotty when farther from the main floor. Beach is small, and it smells, at least during our stay in November. Quinta Avenida is within walking distance but still under construction as of Nov-Dec. Streets around the hotel gets flood with persistent rain. Security is adequate. Police cars patrolling the area frequently esp at night. Again, great Staff !
Hotel location and staff were great! Would definitely visit again.
Everything was so nice but the beach had a lot of rocks and couldn't really walk in it because of that.
Staff was great. Hotel was nice and clean. Food choices ok but very limited. Beach area not good, all washed away. Didn’t like that they did not offer the nightly show to all, only is you got the special meal. Not enough things to do onsite. Bar stayed open but they shut down everything entertainment wise by 9:30. Compared to many other all inclusive resorts, I would not choose this resort again.
I liked the location of the resort and all of the amenities but the beach is not that great.
I love this place but I had to argue to get the upgrade for the room and they put me in a small room with an ocean view that had bunkbeds in it. Patio was very small. I didn’t receive any extra upgrades even though I was supposed to receive two (the room and a VIP) but I didn’t know how to show them when I was there and Expedia didn’t communicate it with them properly. I was really excited to see what we get with the two upgrades the VIP and the room upgrade. Was not excited after I found out they didn’t recognize the VIP upgrade and the room upgrade was at best interesting. Not sure how to make this work between Expedia and them but I will not be booking because of it. I can get a better room and alcohol at a few other places respectively equal. Unless they reach out and say they have it figured out) staff is wonderful.
They have the best staff in the world, the restorants, pool and rooms are best.
From the moment your transportation pulls up to the lobby, you have a feeling of coming "home". The receptionists are extremely friendly and helpful (Jacqueline, Rene, Ana, Francisco, just to name a few. The precautions they took regarding sanitzing the rooms and serving food, etc. made me feel safe. Sergio & Patty, by the pool were so much fun and had us participating in the activities and laughing, along with Andres and Raul. I felt bad that the Brazilian restaurant, Ipanema, wasn't able to serve their food off the skewers, but for safety sake it was understandable. We were unable to take what we wanted from the buffet restaurant, Ventana, but everything was there and was served to us (which made much more work for the servers and chefs, but were happy to serve us). I felt bad that some people weren't aware how much more work they had to do and weren't even leaving tips!! That is something I feel people should be made aware of. They are doing a lot more work for minimal pay and really rely on tips to help!! They keep the restaurants ultra clean and sanitized and really pay attention to the guest requests. They kept social distancing with the tables in the restaurants and even the lounge chairs by the pool. Many of the servers work in both the Bella and the Zarapes restaurant. The servers were very attentive waiting on the guests and making sure everything was sanitized for the next guest.
As a group of 8 people we had an amazing time at the resort...very friendly staff... Great service! Everyone was very nice! Jesus the pool waiter was our MVP. He is awesome...Miguel the bartender makes the best drinks. The food is good. Pablo took care of us at the restaurant...hotel was always clean and rooms are very spacious! Views all around! Sergio and Patty always bringing the party up at the pool... the only downside was the transportation at our departure. The van that was supposed to leave at 1pm but it didn't show up until 1:30pm but other than that we had a great time. We are definitely going back...
Staff was great , only two restaurants were open due to hurricane/covid
