It is an older building with a lot to be desired as far as amenities. The room was quite old not a lot of light or proper safety steps to the bathroom. There is no phone in the room. Would not hesitate to recommend the Clarion Admiral. Clean room, polite helpful staff, excellent full buffet breakfast. Our room had a great view overlooking the harbour across to Bryggen wharf. Noon check-out time was very welcome although an extra half-hour for breakfast would be desirable. Being just a short 10min walk to and from the airport tram and Bryggen wharf, this hotel is the ideal choice to facilitate your visit to Bergen.
