Disappointed
The room was very small and quite shabby however the beds were comfortable the location was good but confusing as there are two entrances, we did not eat at the hotel as the prices were expensive. Having spent three weeks in Japan it was the most expensive room we had and honestly the smallest and shabbiest I won’t be staying there again

Very Good 8.0
I had booked the Standard Twin Room and, upon arriving at the hotel, was immediately offered an upgrade to the next size up room (the name escapes me) for a cost that worked out to about $36 USD per night. I opted to upgrade and was happy with the size of the room I got, but wondered whether this amounts to some sort of racket. Anyhow, the hotel is in a great location (walking distance from Shinjuku Station), has good amenities and provides comfortable beds, scalding hot water and great water pressure in the shower. The only negative that comes to mind is that the room could never lose an unfortunate odor. I ran the dehumidifier in the room 24/7, but this could not alleviate the smell.

Exceptional 10.0
Excellent hotel!
Great location in the heart of Shinjuku, staff are very helpful and speak decent English and are always polite. Room was small for two people though that's expected when two tall people stay in the same room.
