you get what you pay for?
The good: location, relatively quiet overall, feels safe and secure with a locked gate and attendant at all times; rooms are spacious and it's really nice to have a fridge and kitchenette during the stay, reasonably priced at around $120/night. The bad: rooms and hotel are pretty rundown overall, beds are extremely uncomfortable, linens and towels are pretty gross, pretty significant ant problem (see photos), and some electrical doesn't work.

So bad!
I am surprised at the lack of honest reviews, this place is a dump. The ceiling had a leak and pieces of it would fall on us, the bathroom window had pieces missing and anyone walking on the street could literally see the person showering inside. The toilet lid was not attached, you could pick it up and hold it in the air. The furniture in the living room area was so stained, we were afraid to sit on it. The linens were so discolored that we slept fully clothed, with jackets wrapped around the pillow cases. The walls are paper thin, you hear EVERYTHING. After one night, we made reservations somewhere else. It was too intolerable to stay, when we informed the clerk at check out and while nice, they did not seem interested in rectifying any of the issues. And honestly - we wouldnt have stayed even if they could. Pro - the refrigerator worked well.

I wish someone had left an honest review of this place - it was definitely NOT clean, walls paper thin so you could hear everything (and I do mean everything!), the door did lock but I'm sure if you just pushed hard enough it would open. The staff was nice and it's not their fault but this place is not kept up and it is not a comfortable stay. I really do not recommend this place at all.
