Awesome overnight stay
Overnight stop in Dundee. Expected std room but was given suite in the older part of the complex. Room was awesome and huge and the bathroom was too. In addition to the 8x4 shower, there was also a huge roll-top bath. Absolutely delighted with the overnight stay.

Not as good as it used to be.
Room was very dated and needs refreshing. Food service finished early at 8:45, a few guests missed it. I was told in a empty bar at 7:30 food was only available to people who had booked. Luckily I had. It was better a few years ago when I Hilton.

Nice hotel but no Air Con.
For a deluxe room I seemed to have exactly the same as my colleague who paid for a standard. Strange because there was only one deluxe left when I booked so it couldn’t have been upgraded. There is no longer any air-conditioning in any rooms. Something I was only told in the morning. The air-conditioning units are still in the room but was assured this wasn’t a cost cutting measure and that they no longer had any!! I had to get a fan in the early hours of the morning because even with a window opened I was baking. The night receptionist was great and brought the fan to my room. The room in itself was nice and spacious and with the exception of how hot it was was also comfortable. The bathroom had a bath as well as the shower. The gym was well equipped but quite small as was the pool. Breakfast was nice and the do supply poached eggs (despite initially being told that they didn’t) but strangely there were no cups or glasses on the table and you had to search them out…. they were in unlabelled drawers? The bar was OK but I had to search out someone to give me a pint of tap water with ice, at 1.00am, despite the bar being full. All in all a decent stay but could have been a great one. Not quite as good a stay as when it was a Doubletree by Hilton but would stay again and get a fan as soon as I check in.

Nice garden.
Parts of the furniture were torn and faded. Room wasn’t as nice as it looked online. Liked the hotel had a sauna. The tiny pool was spilt off for a toddler swim class meaning you couldn’t really swim as it was just too small with the toddlers having the deep-end. I’m sure the toddlers and mums had a lovely class but hearing people sing nursery rhymes is not my idea of a relaxing sauna. The garden was lovely and the music they played in it really nice place to sit with a drink, bar staff friendly. Over all wouldn’t come back.

Way beyond disappointed
We were placed two rooms down from a wedding reception with exceptionally loud music going on until way past midnight, this should have been considered before placing us in that room, Obviously guest comfort and consideration is not top of the hotels priorities, we were not even asked how our stay was when we checked out, I suspect because the staff would have already known, I will never use this place again and wouldn’t advise anybody else to if they want a peaceful nights sleep, by far the worst hotel stay I have ever had.
