    Room at the Inn!

The staff were amazing. Nicola & Elliot were fantastic hosts. Clicked with Liz behind thr bar, she was amazing and really took interest in what we got upto. The bed was ok, but could feel the springs, the shower went from hot to cold so often we called it the hokey cokey shower. Those little faults didn't at all put us off and I would definitely be staying again! Worth the money, in a prime location (for me, as im an alverton girl) and beautiful atmosohere. Can come and go as you please. Genuinely brilliant place to stay!

Hosts were very welcoming, as was the staff who i must say were excellent a really well run Inn. Very good pub food, we were happy to eat there both evenings that we stayed as the food was beautifully cooked well presented and speedy service. Room had everything we neeeded for our stay, great selection of nibbles wide variety of teas and coffees. The in room breakfast was good plenty of choices, a little fridge in the room always a bonus! The landlady was extremely helpful and very friendly. Next time we are in Penzance we would stay here. Evening diner was very good and the price of staying was very reasonable. Have stayed on 2 occasions so far.

Yo Ho Ho and a Bottle of Rum

The Pirate Inn is just outside the town centre but not too far to walk there and back. The staff are lovely, customer focused, friendly, fonts of knowledge and willing to help where possible. The food is cooked and well presented and good value. The rooms are comfortable and serve their purpose. An excellent place to stay and experience Penzance.

    Room for improvement.

Great value for money and a lovely complimentary breakfast in your room consisting of croissants, cheese and biscuits, porridge teas and coffees etc. We decided to dine that evening and the tapas and lasagne was homemade and tasty. We ordered a cheesecake to share which was served still half frozen. We mentioned it to the waitress who said that her boss had said there’s not a lot that can be done so rather than wait for it to defrost we decided to send it back and get a refund. Poor customer service and a disappointment to the end of the meal.

    Good value for budget accommodation

Stayed two weeks, bed changed three times which was fine, towels changed regularly but bathroom not cleaned. Fresh continental tray delivered every afternoon for the morning, plenty but items repetitive. Service was excellent and really friendly. Food in the pub was lovely and reasonably priced, need to book.

Nice room, all clean. Breakfast included was just packet pot of porridge and packet croissant and bits… but I think that’s a ‘covid’ thing.
